Meet LT!
Lauren E. Terrell is a multi-talented content producer and artist who was born on May 29th, 1986 (a proud Gemini), on the south side of Chicago, Illinois.
After taking a year deferment, Lauren moved to Savannah, Georgia, to pursue a degree in fashion design at Savannah College of Art and Design. She graduated with a BFA in fashion design in 2008 and moved to NYC to pursue her fashion career.
While working in the fashion industry, Lauren perfected her skills in production and product development, as well as design. However, she fell out of love with the fashion industry and decided to move back to Chicago to re-establish herself in the creative industry.
Lauren is currently a Producer in network television, working with the AD Sales/ Brand Solutions production team to deliver experiences that engage consumers with brands in exciting and compelling ways by writing and producing original branded content.
In conjunction with her production expertise, Lauren is also a content creator and artist. Her use of her art and design background has resulted in a range of paintings and artwear exhibited in numerous galleries, and upcoming shows are in the works. Lauren's paintings often refer to pop, urban, and mass culture. She creates situations in which everyday life and non-fiction are merged, often commenting on mass media and culture.
She is a creative acrobat who can create content that represents a product or brand in a compelling and engaging way in the amount of time allotted. Lauren is extremely resourceful, a quick study, and a team player who is always on time and never misses a deadline.
Lauren is currently pursuing an Executive Leadership Fellow Candidate at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an Art Direction Candidate at The One School. She also holds a Post Baccalaureate in Art Therapy/Psychology from the University of Tampa and a Bachelor of Fine Art in Fashion Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design.
